Snowf’s Pompoms was an online store specialising in pompom accessories made from recycled wool. Marketed and sold entirely through Instagram, TCL established a strong and distinctive online presence as a creative entrepreneur. The brand led to expanded opportunities, including running workshops for various organisations and stocking products in retail stores across Melbourne.

TCL co-founded Didi and Dora; a vintage furniture business named after their ‘Bubbes’ (Yiddish for grandmother) — alongside longtime friend Cara Slade. Within a year, the brand grew to over 10k followers and opened a retail store in Hawthorn, VIC.

TCL led the brand’s digital presence and visual direction, managing the website and social media while styling, photographing, and editing all content. After two successful years building the business from the ground up, TCL pursued new opportunities within the design sector.

Alongside The Computer Lady, Sophie runs Balaboosta — an online store featuring thoughtfully curated, handmade homewares by independent artists and makers from Australia and around the world. With a strong focus on ethical and environmentally conscious practices, Balaboosta prioritises working with gender diverse and femme-identifying artists.
